| Rick Hohwart's racing career started in 1982 in the tough Southern California 1/12 facing scene. The tough competition was just what he needed as local victories led to regional victories and finally a win at the 1986 ROAR 1/12 nationals in Reno, NV. Not wanting to rest on his laurels Rick backed up his win with another title the following year and has since won an additional 7 National Titles in such diverse classes as 1/10 on road, 4wd off road, and 1/5 on road. All with the help of Futaba radio equipment.
Rick continues to be a force in the international racing scene. Top 10 finishes at the biggest events, including world championships, are almost assured when he hits the track.
