Born in Chitose, Hokkaido, JAPAN on July 9, 1957, father was USAF fighter pilot and mother was school teacher. Raised in the Orlando, Florida area and currently live in Winter Garden, FL. Attended University of Central Florida in Orlando. Employed in the aerospace industry since 1983 in the field of electro-optics. Currently employed by Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Orlando, FL. Married since 1981 and have 2 children, son 14 years and daughter 10 years old. Other interests include motorsports, skeet and target shooting and boating.

Began flying control line models in 1964 with help from my father, who had flown models as a teenager while living in Japan. Scratch built first radio system, an RCM Classic, and started flying R/C airplanes in 1970. Began competition aerobatics flying in 1974 and was 1st place Senior in Class A pattern at 1974, 1st place Advanced class at 1978 and 1st place Expert class at 1979 US Nationals and placed 6th at 1981 F3A Team Selection contest. Started flying R/C helicopters in 1982 and placed 3rd in F3C class at 1983, 1st place in AMA Expert and F3C classes at 1984 and 1st place F3C class in 1988 and 1990 US Nationals. Placed 7th at 1985 F3C World Championships and was US Team Manager at 1989 F3C World Championships. Won 1995-96 F3C World Championships in Kasaoka, JAPAN and placed 5th at 1997-98 F3C World Championships in Ankara, TURKEY. Have been a consultant to Futaba Corporation USA since 1985 and Miniature Aircraft USA since 1984.
